| Daily Wisdom by Raventalker 09/04/2007 Today is a new day … and so is every day that comes after .. Each and every day that comes is a new opportunity to start over .. each and every day is a fresh slate.. It’s never too late to make those dreams come true.. It’s never too late to start over and do it right .. Each new day is ours to make what we want of it .. Each day we have new choices… and each day we have opportunity to be happy and to make our world a better place.. The choice is yours to make .. May each day bring you sunshine and happiness in many ways.. may your moments be filled with love and magic and may you be blessed always Many Blessings, Raventalker Daily Wisdom by Raventalker 09/20/2007 Today as I ponder what to speak about … I sit quietly in my chair and hope that the Creator will bless me with the answers I seek. At first I try so hard to focus and try and make myself open to allow the energy to flow through me… and then I realize .. some things just should not be forced. By trying so hard and by trying to “force” myself to be open I was in fact doing the opposite. When up push against something .. what usually happens is that the force pushes back .. unless it is already open. So I realized I must first of all relax… and then allow myself to be open .. I needed to let go of trying to “make” something happen.. and just allow it to come naturally. This can be applied to life in so many ways.. I know we want things so badly we push and we push .. wanting it to happen.. we stress ourselves out and keep pushing .. quite often it doesn’t happen the way we first thought … or in the time frame we wanted… but usually it is when we let go of trying to “force” it into being .. when it happens. Letting go of that control is hard .. especially when it comes to things that have a large effect on our lives and when it is something we feel is good for us or will better us in some way … I’m sure most of you have heard that song ..”Unanswered Prayers” by Garth Brooks Just the other night A hometown football game My wife nd I ran into My old high school flame And as I introduced them The past came back to me And I couldn't help but Think of the way Things used to be She was the one that I'd wanted for all times And each night I'd spend prayin' that God would make her mine And if he'd only grant me This wish I wished back then I'd never ask for anything again Sometimes I thank God For unanswered prayers Remember when you're Talkin' to the man upstairs That just because He doesn't answer Doesn't mean He don't care Some of God's greatest gifts Are unanswered prayers She wasn't quite the angel that I remembered in my dreams And I could tell that Time had changed me Inn her eyes too it seemed We tried to talk About the old days There wasn't much We could recall I guess the Lord knows What he's doin' after all And as she walked away And I looked at my wife And then and there I thanked the good Lord For the gifts in my life Sometimes I thank God For unanswered prayers Remember when you're Talkin' to the man upstairs That just because He may not answer Doesn't mean He don't care Some of God's greatest gifts Are unanswered prayers Some of God's greatest gifts Are all too often unanswered Some of God's greatest gifts Are unanswered prayers Think back on all the prayers you’ve made in your life .. now think back on how many you are so glad NOW that never came true ? Let go of forcing things into being .. allow life to happen more naturally … I’m not saying give up on everything .. some things you need to pursue and make happen .. like getting an education or particular job or home or whatever it may be .. Many Blessings, Raventalker Daily Wisdom by Raventalker 09/21/2007 I’m told today to simply say ……… Keep wishing on those stars…. You just never know when your dreams are about to come true? It’s good to have dreams, hopes and ambition… Don’t ever let anyone make you feel that your dreams or hopes are silly .. if it’s in your heart and something you feel strongly about wanting to do … then do it .. do it with great passion and intent … it’s up to you to make your own dreams come true.. don’t sit around and wait for it to happen .. take action In the mean time.. it never hurts to lay your head down each night and wish upon the stars… by doing so you are confirming your wish.. your desire to make things happen .. An Affirmation - the assertion that something exists or is true. ( or soon will be ?) So .. dare to dream.. Dare to wish .. and dare to make them all come true! Many Blessings, Raventalker Daily Wisdom by Raventalker 09/24/2007 Rumor Has it ……………… How often is it you hear something that has been rumored around? I’m sure it’s been more than plenty! This is simply a reminder … when you hear something from a third, fourth, fifth or whatever party … and your gut feeling says .. “ya know that doesn’t sound right” …. More than likely it’s probably not the whole truth .. as we all know the truth often gets lost as it’s passed around So when those rumors happen to come your way .. don’t pass them on .. stop it in it’s tracks … Rumors can be hurtful and upsetting .. Be one of those who refuses to laugh and allow terrible rumors to grow and take over the truth .. don’t pass on what you don’t know is truth or not. Be kind to others .. you never know when that next rumor might just be about YOU! Many Blessings, Raventalker Daily Wisdom by Raventalker 09/26/2007 Last night I had a dream about a pool of mucky water … I was about to drain the mucky water from the pool so that I could refill it with clean , clear water and when I began to drain the pool I noticed it was full of frogs.. So………….. today’s wisdom is about FROG ENERGY! Frog Energy http://www.serioussilver.com/totemenergy/frog.html Frog's song calls down the cleansing power of the rain. Frog is a reminder of the sacred power of tears to tranform and cleanse away sorrow. Frogs will die if away from moisture for too long, and thus Frog reminds us to refresh ourselves, and allow joy to moisten our lives and our hearts. If you are feeling "muddied" by the world, take a moment to dream, to laugh and cry and renew yourself. Frog also reminds us to cleanse our bodies, our environments and our auric fields. People with Frog energy should learn and utilize methods of psychic cleansing. Daily Wisdom by Raventalker 09/27/2007 As you all must know last night was the full moon .. and oh what a wonderful bright moon it was for us .. I encourage everyone to step outside during these days or umm ok nights of the full moon and allow yourself to soak up the moons wonderful magic energy … September: Harvest Moon Also known as the Barley or Hunter's Moon, the Harvest Moon is a time of protection, prosperity, and abundance. This is the time of year when the grains are being harvested, and it is a good time for magick involving your prosperity, abundance, and the nurturing of others. If you have had a long illness, this is the time to finally come back to full health again. This is also the time to obtain that higher paying position at work. Magick! What do you see.. feel ..or think … when you hear that word .. Magick ? Me, I can’t help but smile.. for me so much comes to mind .. I think of the full moon glowing so brightly in the midnight sky.. I see a golden sunset where the sky is full of magnificent colors.. I think of the sound of the leaves rustling on the ground in fall.. I see the country side filled with color suddenly when the winds change and the air cools in autumn.. I think of all the unseen around us .. I think of the miracles that happen every day … I see my children .. and remember the day they were born .. It’s how I feel warm and fuzzy as my husband reaches out to hold my hand .. or when he brushes back my hair late at night.. It’s remembering the first kiss … his lips on mine and all the world fading away … I think of all the dreams and wishes that have come and gone.. I feel my heart as it pounds when I lay my head on my husbands shoulder and inhale the scent I know as him and I am comforted and happy.. It’s winter’s first snow or spring’s first rain It’s that four leaf clover you finally found It’s being a kid and making snow angles on the ground Magick to me is many things .. It’s our song playing on the radio just as I was thinking of him It’s letting go It’s opening up It’s finding your place, your home.. your path It’s fate It’s deja vu It’s knowing It’s in the shadows . .it’s in the light .. it’s throughout the day and even the night It’s knowing when to stop or when to keep going on It’s in your heart and in your soul It’s a part of you .. It’s something unexplainable.. just something you know. It’s magick don’t you know! |
